Case history- Aanchal, director at an MNC, struggled to lose weight for a long time but could not see any changes despite being consistent with the diet. She was also involved in regular physical activity. Her work profile involved travel for about 15 to 18 days internationally and in other states of India. She was fond of mountains and trekking, so she wanted to focus on her stamina and fitness to include trekking significantly in her life. After analysing her blood reports, we saw that her HbA1c was 6.2, which was slightly high. Her T4 and TSH levels were also abnormal. Her meal timings were haywire since she attended various functions and travelled constantly.

We also suggested her meal plan per her travel location, where she could include the local foods. We ensured that her main meals were protein-rich to maintain her stamina and blood sugar levels. We advised her on a physical activity regime that supported her routine and lifestyle to improve her fitness status. We taught her meal prepping wherever feasible and included her favourite foods in healthier versions.
